Marshfield Area United Way Announces 2023 Funding Allocations

MARSHFIELD, April 7, 2023— Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the success of our 2022 fundraising campaign, Marshfield Area United Way will invest over $600,000 in community programming over the next twelve months.

Of these funds, $525,000 will go to local health and human service organizations. Allocations to these programs were recently approved by United Way’s Board of Directors upon recommendations made by the Community Impact Committee. This committee is comprised of approximately twenty community volunteers formed into two review panels. These panels reviewed program applications and interviewed agencies requesting funding to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the program, and to ensure the program aligns within United Way’s focus in the areas of education, financial stability, and health.
