Big Brothers Big Sisters Success Story

bg

Little Brother Shane and Big Brother Shane recently celebrated a significant milestone, five years since their heartwarming journey began.

Their extraordinary bond was initiated when Little Shane was a mere 13 years old, and it has since played an instrumental role in his life, culminating in his high school graduation this past May. Reflecting on this pivotal moment, Shane attests that their enduring partnership served as a wellspring of motivation throughout his high school years, equipping him with invaluable life skills. Shane's mother, too, acknowledges the profound and positive influence that Big Brother Shane has had on her son.

The activities they've shared, from exhilarating snow tubing adventures to leisurely walks, dining escapades, and serene fishing trips, have not only created unforgettable memories but also forged an unbreakable friendship. Little Brother Shane's high school graduation is but one of numerous significant milestones they've commemorated over the years. Their shared experiences include Little Brother obtaining his driver's license and landing his first job. At the same time, Big Brother successfully navigated his way through college, tied the knot, and embarked on his professional journey. Both affirm that their partnership has been an incredible journey. Although the formal mentoring relationship has concluded as Little Brother turned 18, both are resolute in maintaining their enduring friendship, underscoring that their bond will remain steadfast for years to come.
