Jenni Smith joined the Marshfield Area United Way team in February 2023 as the Marketing and Events Manager. Raised in the Chili, Loyal, Spencer, Greenwood, and Marshfield areas, she has been actively involved in volunteer services from a young age, contributing to organizations such as the Children's Miracle Network, Ronald McDonald House, Saint Joseph's Hospital, local pet shelters, and the Red Cross.
Her professional experience spans over ten years with ShopKo Stores Inc., where she held various roles, three years as the Front-End PM Customer Service Manager at Festival Foods, and six years in the Driver Employment Center at Roehl Transport, where she held multiple positions. While at Roehl, Jenni served on the United Way committee, assisting in their annual campaign. She also played a key role in launching an internal scholarship program and a company charitable giving committee.
A 2023-2024 Leadership Marshfield graduate, Jenni was a key creator of the Sunflower Project, a mental health awareness initiative that promotes United Way's 211 helpline and the 988-suicide prevention lifeline. These signs can be found across the Marshfield Area Walking Trails, The High school and Middle school along with other various Major buildings in Marshfield.
In addition to her work at United Way, Jenni owns Jenni Jane Photography LLC and holds various certifications in business, HR, leadership, marketing, and photography. She and her husband, Samuel, have three children and a Goldendoodle. The family recently purchased their forever home in Marshfield, where they enjoy family walks, home improvement projects, traveling to hidden gems, sipping coffee, watching sunsets, and learning new skills.
